UT Austin Academy for Women

First Bytes Summer Camps are free, one-week
residential camp programs for high school
females - one camp is for rising sophomores
and the other is for rising juniors/seniors.
The camps are designed to dispel myths
about computer science and intrigue young
women with the potential of computing and the
excitement of problem solving. You must be a
Texas resident to apply.

Ag Discovery Program

A STEM outreach program allowing high school students to stay on one of several college campuses to research agriculture, animal sciences, and wildlife management with the mentorship of university professors. Students must apply through individual partner college applications.

AwesomeMath Summer Program

The AwesomeMath Summer Program is an intensive three-week program for gifted students from around the globe. It is designed for bright middle and high school students who wish to hone their problem solving skills in particular and further their mathematics education in general. Many of our participants seek to improve their performance on contests such as AMC10/12, AIME, or USAMO.

Middle schooler or high schooler passionate about math

Google's Computer Science Summer Institute (CSSI)

Google's Computer Science Summer Institute (CSSI) is a three-week introduction to computer science (CS) for graduating high school seniors with a passion for technology — especially students from historically underrepresented groups in the field. There are three different CSSI pathwys.

Eligibility:

Be a current high school senior, physically be in the U.S., Mexico, or Canada, and intend to be enrolled as a full-time student in a 4-year BA/BS program in the US (excluding territories) or Canada

Summer Leadership Program

A life-changing leadership program for youth aged 14-19 living in the Greater Boston Area. Participants are immersed in an exciting six and a half weeks of community building, political development, social justice reform. Students become stronger leaders through controversial seminars and community based projects.

Must be 14-19 years old, living in the Greater Boston Area

Summer High School Internship Program

8 week paid internship where rising high school seniors will be able to perform research with a Fred Hutch research group. This experience involves a week of lab training, seminars, and, professional development workshops. The experiment is culumnated with a research presentation.

Memorial Hermann Teen Volunteer (Katy Hospital)

Benefits of the Junior Volunteer Program include:

BeaverWorks Summer Institute

A highly rigorous STEM program for rising high school seniors. Participants take project based coursework at MIT’s Lincoln Laboratory and showcase their designs.

Summer High School Internship Program (SHIP)

SHIP is a competitive program for students with backgrounds underrepresented in biological sciences. The program is eight weeks long, with one week of training and seven weeks of laboratory research projects. Interns also participate in research education seminars, attend professional development workshops focused on college and careers, and enjoy social activities with their teams and peers. The program ends with intern presentations to the Fred Hutch community.

HEALERS: Program

HEALERS (Health Education Active Learning Experience for Regional Scholars) is a hands-on, interactive program open to high school students in Pulaski County, who will be entering their junior or senior year in the fall.
