Economics Achievement and Research Network

EARN is a highly selective program for members of YEI affiliated EconClubs who are truly passionate about economics and want to gain real-world experience. EARN leverages YEI’s connections to match motivated students with economics internships at top universities and companies.

Biogen Community Lab Summer Program

Summer program where participants are able to experience hands-on learning and meet with real scientists of a biotech company. Students will be focusing on modifying DNA and study fluorescent proteins, learning DNA-specific laboratory techniques while doing so.

Future M.D.s+ Summer Program

Learn about life support, medical techniques & practices, emergency procedures, triaging, diagnosing patients, preparing for a career in medicine and STEM, hear from medical professionals, and more! Participants also design their own solution to a relevant problem in Medicine and STEM, AND have the opportunity to submit & compete with your own research design for our Research Symposium (within the program)! You can also participate in our giveaways featured throughout the program.

TRiO Educational Talent Search-Colorado

TRIO Educational Talent Search (ETS) is a federally funded grant program sponsored by Colorado State University-Pueblo that is driven by our mission to empower first-generation, low-income students in Pueblo, CO to attend college and graduate. ETS will help 500 middle and high school students annually at Pueblo City Schools with career exploration and secondary school success initiatives as well as transitions. By doing so, we will break down the barriers that hold our students back from succeeding in college and beyond.

Bikes Not Bombs

Bikes Not Bombs has several programs based around teaching youth to build bikes. For instance, in BnB's Build a Bike program, youth are taught to build, ride, and navigate a bike throughout the city of Boston. BnB also offers paid job and internship programs for teens.

Eligibility:

Age requirements vary for different groups. Generally 12-18 years old.
