TRiO Classic Upward Bound-Delaware Technical Community College
Delaware Technical Community College offers a classic Upward Bound program on its Dover, Georgetown, and Wilmington campuses. This program gives high school students access to college preparatory courses, test prep, college tours, and career exploration workshops. Students are also able to attend a stipended summer academy.

TRiO Educational Talent Search-Wyoming
Our nation has asserted a commitment to providing educational opportunity for all Americans regardless of race, ethnic background, or economic circumstance. In support of this commitment, Congress established a series of programs to help limited income, first generation and disadvantaged Americans enter college, graduate from college, and become positive contributors to society. These programs are referred to as TRIO Programs.

TRiO Educational Talent Search-Idaho
Educational Talent Search (ETS) is a federally funded TRiO program serving students aged 11-27, focusing on those whose families are on a limited income and whose parents did not graduate with a four year college degree. The program targets "educationally talented" students, any who have the desire and the potential to seek post high school education, which includes two and four year colleges and technical schools. ETS helps students better understand their educational opportunities and options. Therefore, all students are encouraged to apply.

Texas Boys State
American Legion Boys State is among the most respected and selective educational programs of government instruction for high school students. It is a participatory program where each student becomes a part of the operation of his local, county, and state government.
At American Legion Boys State, participants are exposed to the rights and privileges, the duties and the responsibilities, of a franchised citizen. The training is objective and practical, with city, county, and state governments operated by the students elected to the various offices.
Eligibility:
Must be a male high school student who has successfully completed junior year while having at least one semester left for high school. You should not have previously attended Boys state. In addition, recommendations from school officials and parents/guardian's permission is required. You must also be certified by American Legion post and sign the Texas Boys State Pledge. The candidate should also demonstrate a strong academic performance, excellent interpersonal, leadership and solid oratorical skills.

NYBG High School Explainer Program
A volunteer internship program where high school students explain nature and plant science to younger students. This includes tours through the garden (currently through digital technology), and by performing various activities with youth. These activities include observation, data collection, or journaling. Explainers also receive several benefits, such as free museum tickets and bus passes.

Upward Bound: Alcorn State University
The Upward Bound Program at Alcorn State University is a pre-college preparatory program funded by the U.S. Department of Education. The program is designed to motivate underachieving students by developing their basic skills to enable them to complete high school and make a successful transition into postsecondary education.
Eligibility:
Participants must be enrolled in high schools from Adams, Claiborne, Jefferson and Wilkinson Counties; low-income; and/or first generation college student; students must have completed 8th grade, be between the ages of 13 and 19, and have a need for academic support.

2021-22 THE FOUNTAINHEAD Essay Contest
CDC Museum Disease Detective Camp (DDC) is an interdisciplinary educational program organized by the CDC Museum. DDC reflects the museum’s mission of educating the public about CDC’s work. This academic day camp is held at CDC headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia. Admission is open to high-school students during the summer before their junior or senior years. During camp students are immersed in the diverse field of public health.

Young Scholars Program
The Cooke Young Scholars Program is a selective five-year, pre-college scholarship for high-performing 7th grade students with financial need. It provides comprehensive academic and college advising, as well as financial support for school, Cooke-sponsored summer programs, internships, and other learning enrichment opportunities.
Eligibility:
Must be a 7th grader who earns mostly A's and B's in core academic subjects while demonstrating unmet financial aid.
